Rich is the Senior Engineer, Vice President – Goldman Sachs & Co. He manages global teams within the Collaboration and Communications – Corporate Workplace Solutions Business Unit, which is responsible for the innovation, engineering, delivery, implementation, and support of a broad suite of technology products for the firm.
Previously he has served in various roles within Goldman Sachs Engineering, managing the global rollout of IPT Telephony, Audio Conferencing, Voicemail, and Trader Voice platforms, inclusive of the technology infrastructure integration of our various divisions and subsidiaries, and the introduction of the firm’s first cloud-based call center for Marcus Consumer Banking division.
He joined Goldman Sachs in 2000 and was named Vice President in 2002 and Senior Engineer in 2014. Prior to joining the firm, Rich was an engineer at Octel Communications, Lucent Technologies, and Avaya. He has earned BEEE and BS degrees in Electrical Engineering and Economics from CUNY in 1989.
Rich is married and has three children and resides in Pennsylvania and is active in several civic, religious, and charitable organizations in the US, Jamaica, and elsewhere.
Rich attended St Cyprian’s Prep School, graduating and moving on to St Mary’s High School. After high school, he spent a year at Midland Bible School before migrating to the US for college and work. He has now also assumed the Managing Directorship of Mizpah Funeral Supplies and related businesses following the passing of his late father Vincent C Mason.
Rich is greatly honored to be serving on the board of the SCDF and is delighted to be partnering with the other illustrious members to ensure the legacy of St Cyprians lives on for many more generations.
